Fun, fun, fun! Everyone loves a fun online game, and it’s even better when it is free. I’m going to categorize the different genres of games, and then list from best to worst.
MMORPGs (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game):
This category I have a lot of experience in. There is a lot of controversy in this subject area too, mainly because kids play it the most and always claim that all of them suck except for the one they play.
The Most Fun Free MMORPG:
Silkroad is a player vs player (PVP) game, which means you attack other real people in the game. Based in Korea, it has anime-type 3D graphics and looks pretty impressive.
Another Korean game, this one is 2D and offers players around the world to interact with each other whilst battling monsters in a team. Players can join guilds to interact even more.
This is arguably the most popular MMO, it has a vast amount of quests you can do with other real players, and PVP combined. Players can gain respect by leveling and gaining gold coins to customize their character.
Flyff is another eastern made game, where you can play with other people in real time to level up, make hover boards and fly around, and kill other players if you so wish.
1) Puzzle Pirates:
Puzzle Pirates is a fun puzzle game where you and other players complete puzzles in real time to pillage money from opposing ships. You can level up and gain rank and respect.
Most Fun Pay to Play MMORPGs:
5) Lord of the Rings Online:
This is based on the book and film Lord Of the Rings, you are an avatar similar to the real characters, and interact with other people in real time. There are skills and levels you can acquire, and you can fight in a player vs. player environment once you’ve reached a certain level.
4) Warhammer Online:
This is a MMORPG based on a never-ending war between two sides. In real time PVP you can fight other real people to defend your keep. Good graphics, and a good community in the game.
3) Eve Online:
This science fiction MMO is very unique, you are a pilot of a customizable spacecraft interacting and attacking enemy space ships. There are over 9000 star systems to interact with, and many professions to get involved in for in-game money. Such as mining, trading, and combat.
This, in my opinion, is the most fun MMO for PVP you can get. As well as having PVE (player vs. environment) the Player vs. Player is really spectacular, as well as very competitive.
1) World of Warcraft:
No matter how hard you try, you can’t deny that World of Warcraft is the best MMORPG in the world. You can do pretty much everything on this game, it is continuously expanding and the game following is something to behold.
Most Fun Flash Games:
5) Alien Hominid:
A must play for all flash gamers, this legendary game is a hack and slash, play as an alien crash landing on earth and fight away the FBI with your yellow ball gun and knife.
4) Pandemic II:
This is a game where you have to try and spread disease and illness as fast as possible through the world to kill everyone. Make decisions on how to do it the fastest, but watch out for that sneaky Madagascar! A very fun game.
3) The Last Stand 2:
Hold off the zombies on your last stand! Barricade the building and kill zombies at every means possible, gory and well made.
2) Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2:
This is a fun little sidescroller game (like Mario), where you play as a stick figure with baggy jeans running around grabbing coins, and making it to the next door. It’s very fun to play and aesthetically beautiful.
1) Portal the Flash version:
This is a flash version of the popular game ‘Portal’; it is a unique puzzle game where you fire a portal gun at one location, and a different color at another location. When you walk into one portal you come out of the other one – extremely fun and addictive.
Hopefully this has shown you the light in gaming online!
